General Tour Description.
6 days from Fez to the desert-circuit 6 days from Fez, the 6-day trip from Fez to the sahara desert passing ifrane, merzouga todra valley, dades valley, Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou, Marrakech.
Itinerary : 6 days Morocco
Day 1: Fez- Midelt.
In 6 days from Fez to the desert, after breakfast we leave to Midelt via Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco. We will arrive at the Azrou forest where we will stop to enjoy watching the monkeys climbing the cedars. Then we will continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Arrival in Midelt and overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Midelt - Merzouga.
Breakfast and drive through the Ziz valley and its gorges to Errachidia, reaching the city of Erfoud, famous for being the capital of fossils. Then we will go to Merzouga, where the day will be dedicated to appreciate the peace of the desert. Overnight in hotel near the dunes.
Day 3: Merzouga - Desert route in 4×4 - Camel ride - Night in the desert.
After breakfast we will start the great route of the dunes, passing through many desert villages, one of them is the village of Khamlia where we will stop to enjoy the Gnawa music and then continue the route visiting the desert nomads in their haimas, we will discover a new sense of life … In the afternoon we will climb on camels to spend the night in the middle of the dunes under a nomadic tent.
Day 4 : Erg Chebbi - Toldra Gorges.
We will get up early to see the beautiful sunrise and to climb the dunes, then we will ride the camels back to the hotel where we will have breakfast. Then we will continue to the Toldra Gorges via Rissani where we will stop to visit its traditional Souk which is considered the largest in all of southern Morocco, we will continue to the Toldra Gorges. Overnight in hotel in the Toldra Gorges.
Day 5 : Toldra Gorges - Ouarzazate.
Breakfast and walk a little between the Gorges before continuing to the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses, the Oasis of Skoura. Arrival in Ouarzazate and overnight in Riad.
Day 6 : Ouarzazate -Marrakech.
After breakfast and before continuing to Marrakech we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where many movies have been filmed, including Sahara. The Kingdom of Heaven, Cleopatra and Gladiator and then continue to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N’tichka pass. Where we can see many Berber villages and farms. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon and accommodation in Riad end of 6 days from fez to the desert.
