Fes desert tours 5 days

Day 1: Fez - Toldra Gorges.

Excursion 5 days fez ,Departure from Fez in the morning, we will pass through Ifrane , the Swiss of Morocco, then we will arrive at the village of Imilchil of Isli and Tislit, the Lake of the Bride and Groom, and follow the road to the Toldra Gorges, night in hotel.

Day 2: Toldra Gorges - Ouzina desert.

After breakfast we will go through valleys and many Berber villages. We will continue along one of the tracks that the Paris-Dakar rally used to travel, stopping halfway to enjoy an authentic Berber tea with the nomads, under a haima. Then we will visit the oasis of Ramlia, in the evening we will arrive at the hostel in Ouzina.

Day 3: Ouzina desert - Ouzina village.

Breakfast and free day to visit the village of Ouzina and its surroundings. Know the way of life and customs of its inhabitants, sharing with them as a token of hospitality a “Berber whiskey,” as they affectionately call mint tea. If you feel like it, you will have the opportunity to be tattooed with henna different Berber motifs, always by a person specialized in this art.

We will have lunch at our guide Hassan’s house with a delicious Berber pizza, thanks to the hospitality of his family. In the afternoon we return to the lodge, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ouzina desert - Merzouga.

After breakfast we will go on track passing through several border villages of Morocco and Algeria, in the afternoon we will arrive at Erg Chebbi, it is there where the camels await us to cross the dunes and enjoy the sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight at Haima Nomad.

Day 5: Merzouga - Fes.

Return to the hotel on dromedaries, after shower and breakfast, we will begin a long stage leaving the beautiful desert, crossing the Ziz Valley, the Anti Atlas Mountains, we will pass through the Cedar Forest where we will stop for a refreshment next to the Monkeys. Arrival at the last minute to the capital of Moroccan Culture: Fez, and we will transfer to the hotel at the end of the 5 days Fez Excursion.

We were a group of friends and had little time, so we were able to modify the trip and do the desert of Merzouga in two days and one night, although it was a long way to get to the desert, it is absolutely worth it. When traveling to unfamiliar places you have a kind of fear, to know that what you are paying for will be met. In this case they exceeded all our expectations, everything was set up perfectly and with friendliness at all times. The hotel in Dades, a beauty, which transports you to live for a moment in a beautiful Riad. The Haimas in él deserts impeccable.
