Day 1 : Tangier - Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

We will pick you up at the seaport (Ferry) in the morning. Departure to Chaouen, stop in Tetouan, the Spanish city, arrival in Chaouen. Departure for a visit to the city of Chaouen. Stroll through its streets and among its old blue and white houses, and we will also contemplate its panoramic views, then we will head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis to explore the 2000 year old ruins and get a picture of life during the Roman Empire. Lunch will be in Meknes one of the imperial cities of Morocco. After lunch, your driver will take you on a tour of Meknes, then drive to Fez, the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. Overnight in (Riad)

Day 2 : Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga

From Fez we will go to the Middle Atlas, to visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. The next village will be Azrou “the rock”, Berber village known for its monkeys, then arrival in Midelt. The road continues through the Tizi Talghemt or Camel’s Neck, at 1,907 meters of altitude. The relief is impressive, the mountains are completely bare, covered with a purple coat. Arrival in Errachidia and start the crossing of the massif of Tafilalet to the palm grove of Erfoud. Direction desert and lodging in Merzouga (Hotel).

Day 3 : Merzouga - Nomadic Families - Khamlia Village - Back to Erg Chebbi - Camel ride - Night in desert.

This will be a day of adventure where we will know a different Morocco! With the 4×4 we pass in the village of Khamlia where you will stop to enjoy the music of Gnawa then we will follow the road we will cross mountains that at first glance seem hard rocks but walking them we will see that it is fossilized sand that has been deposited there millions of years ago.

We will practice some trekking to get to the site where dinosaur remains are extracted. We will visit the inside of one of these excavations feeling in our skin the daily experience of the expeditionary. On the way, in the company of an inhabitant of the small village of Bega, we will enjoy the calm of the arid landscape and we will start to play the search for the Desert Rose. Why not? And whoever finds it will have a surprise prize! Later, along stone paths, we will drive parallel to the border with Algeria until we reach the area where marine fossils are extracted. In a unique landscape we will have a picnic in the Berber style: on one side the mountains and on the other the orange dunes of the Sahara.

And to conclude our day of extreme adventure we will pass behind the dunes by little-traveled roads and visit the cemetery of the French and an abandoned village of the colonial era and leave in a caravan of camels for an hour and a half that will take us to the foot of the Great Dune, wrapped by the beautiful desert sunset. Dinner at the camp and night in a tent in the heart of the desert under its spectacular starry blanket (Camp).

Day 4 : Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) - Rissani - Gorges of Todra - Dades Valley

After seeing the amazing sunrise in the desert we will take the camels again to return to “civilization”. Return to the hotel where we will have breakfast and shower and freshen up. Once cleared, we will leave in the direction of Rissani, origin of the Alaouite dynasty and first imperial city of Morocco. We will take the road towards Erfoud, rich in black stone and marine fossils (if you want, we can stop at a fossil factory) and arrive at the Palmeral of Tafilalet. We will visit the Todra Gorges and arrive at the Dades Valley, and accommodation in (Kasbah).

Day 5 : Dades Valley - Valley of Roses - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Aït Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech

Today, you will travel to Ouarzazate via Dades Boumalne, El-Kelaa M’Gouna and Skoura.

You will admire the views of the Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs, Valley of the Roses and the oasis of Skoura during the drive.

We will arrive in Ouarzazate, where you can have a stop to see the Kasbah of Taourirt which was built from the Glaoui dynasty. From here we drive towards the village of Aït Ben Haddou, having lunch then exploring the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Later, you will be driven through the pass of Tizi N’Tichka (2260 m), you will have the opportunity to take pictures and enjoy the scenes of the High Atlas Mountains visiting the ARGAN Oil cooperative, where we will discover the process of realization and we will explain the countless benefits it has for the human body in the afternoon we arrive in Marrakech, transfer to the riad or hotel where to stay in Marrakech and end of our services.

We were a group of friends and had little time, so we were able to modify the trip and do the desert of Merzouga in two days and one night, although it was a long way to get to the desert, it is absolutely worth it. When traveling to unfamiliar places you have a kind of fear, to know that what you are paying for will be met. In this case they exceeded all our expectations, everything was set up perfectly and with friendliness at all times. The hotel in Dades, a beauty, which transports you to live for a moment in a beautiful Riad. The Haimas in él deserts impeccable.
