7 days tour in Morocco from Casablanca

Day 1 Arrival in Casablanca - Marrakech.

Arrival at Casablanca airport, reception by our staff in English. Visit of the Hassan II mosque, the most famous mosque in the kingdom of Morocco. Then we will head to Marrakech. Arrival at the hotel. Overnight and breakfast.

Day 2 : Marrakech - Ksar Telouet -Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate.

Departure to Ouarazazate. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains, where we will visit the kasbah of Telouet, palace of the “Lord of the Atlas”. Descending from the Atlas we will enter the territory of the Berbers of the desert. We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and famous for being the scene of blockbuster films such as the Oscar-winning “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Sheltering Sky” or “Babel”. Arrival in Ouarzazate, also called the Hollywood of Morocco. Night in a charming riad.

Day 3 : Ouarzazate - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert.

The route now crosses the Valley of the Roses and continues through the Dades Valley. We will arrive in Boumalne Dades, a Berber village famous for its high gorges and views of the Atlas Mountains, now on the horizon. Departure to Tinghir “the city of the mountain” in Tamazight, another beautiful Berber village where we will be delighted with the contrast of its palm groves and pink houses. The landscape changes, we are in the Todra Gorges formed by walls of more than 200m. We will continue south, we cross Erfoud and arrive at Rissani, gateway to the desert of Erg Chebbi and a bustling medina little frequented by tourists, where you can see nomads stocking up. It draws attention to a donkey parking near the market. A 35 km Merzouga, small village at the foot of the red dunes.

We change the 4×4 for camels with which we will take a pleasant two-hour ride through the dunes to reach the haima camp in the heart of the desert where we will be received according to the tradition of the Sahara, with a Berber tea. Night in haimas under the desert stars.

Day 4 : Desert - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Fez.

We will see the sunrise over the sea of dunes. After breakfast we will return by camels to Merzouga and after a shower we will leave in 4×4 to Ziz Valley passing through Erfoud, known for its fossils, until we reach Midelt, an important town in the Middle Atlas where we will have lunch and continue the road until we reach Fez, passing through Ifran “the Moroccan Switzerland”. Arrival in Fez. Night and breakfast in a charming riad.

Day 5 : Fez- Fez.

Free day to discover the narrow streets of the medina, the historical monuments and crafts. Night and breakfast in a charming riad.

Day 6 : Fez - Meknes - Marrakech.

Breakfast. Departure through fertile valleys full of olive trees and vineyards to reach Meknes. Visit of this city that reached its peak under the reign of Mulay Ismail, who made it his capital. The visit begins with the ramparts, with its magnificent gates as Bab Manssur. Then we will go to the Aghal pond, with an area of four hectares.

The visit ends at the Mausoleum-Mezquita of Moulay Ismail, stucco, stone and fine porcelain and we will head towards the city of Marrakech. Overnight and breakfast

Day 7 : Visit of Marrakech.

Free day to discover the city of Marrakech and at the agreed time transfer to the airport. End of trip Morocco 7 days

We were a group of friends and had little time, so we were able to modify the trip and do the desert of Merzouga in two days and one night, although it was a long way to get to the desert, it is absolutely worth it. When traveling to unfamiliar places you have a kind of fear, to know that what you are paying for will be met. In this case they exceeded all our expectations, everything was set up perfectly and with friendliness at all times. The hotel in Dades, a beauty, which transports you to live for a moment in a beautiful Riad. The Haimas in él deserts impeccable. I would definitely recommend it to those who want to have an excellent experience with no surprises. We were 1 couple, 2 children and grandparents. Thank you for everything.
