Day 1 : Tangier - Chefchaouen - Fes

During the first day of your trip we will meet in the port of Tangier and through the Rif Mountains and the city of Tetouan enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains until we reach Chefchaouen, one of the impressive villages at the foot of the Rif Mountains.

In the medina of Chefchaouen we find the central square of Spanish style surrounded by many craft workshops and entertaining stores. There we will find the best restaurants and cafes.

Our journey will continue to Volubilis crossing through Wazan and other Rif villages. Volubilis is an important archaeological site from Roman times that will show us part of Morocco’s historical past.

After the visit of the ruins we will head to the nearby historic city of Meknes, where we will stop for lunch and stroll to contemplate the wall of its Medina, Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay Ismail’s sanctuary. After the visit of Meknes, we will head directly to the city of Fez, where we will spend the night in a Riad.

Day 2 : Fez - City Tour

After breakfast at your riad , you will start to know the oldest city of Morocco by walking through its streets and alleys . Our tour starts by visiting the Royal Palace, the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 16th century. We will make sure you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in Africa, the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the Mausoleum of Mulay Idriss. After lunch, we will visit the tile cooperative and then enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the entire Medina of Fez. Overnight and dinner at Riad.

Day 3 : Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi

After breakfast at your hotel, departure to Merzouga. The route will take us to Ifrane and the fascinating pass of Tiz Ntalghamt and the Ziz Gorges, you will be able to observe the views of the High Atlas plateau and we will see the landscape change to reveal the desert tracks as you approach the town of Errachidia. Afterwards, you will travel along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping along the way to Erfoud and Rissani for panoramic views. Upon arrival in Merzouga we will have a traditional welcome glass of mint tea and then we will take a camel ride to a tented camp in the middle of the Erg-Chebbi desert to spend the night surrounded by the dunes and the music of the Berber drums.

Day 4 : Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

We will wake up early to see the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before we make our way back with the camels to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Afterwards the route will take us through the Saghro Mountains to Tinghir. We will take a short ride through the Todra Gorges before arriving in the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 : Dades Valley - Valley of the Roses - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel through the Dades Valley to the Kelaa Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The journey through the Dades Valley is the road of a thousand kasbahs which provides numerous opportunities to take some of the best photo opportunities of the trip as well as the adjoining Valley of the Roses. Continue to the city of Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios.

On the way to Marrakech, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs during the beginning of the 20th century, what used to be one of his stops during his long journey from the Sahara to Marrakech, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the landscape will change dramatically as you cross the High Atlas, encountering attractive panoramic views and Berber villages all the way to Marrakech. Overnight in Riad.

Day 6 : Marrakech: City Tour

After breakfast at the Riad , you will visit Marrakech ” the red city” . We will make sure to visit the most important places of historical and cultural interest , including the Majorelle Gardens , the Koutoubia Tower , the Saadian Tombs , the Bahia Palace.

After lunch in a restaurant near the famous Jemma El-Fna Square. Later we will visit the souks where we will find samples of various handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have free time to visit other parts of the city.

Day 7 : Transfer to the airport

After breakfast, at a convenient time we will accompany you to the airport where after the farewell we will end our services.

We were a group of friends and had little time, so we were able to modify the trip and do the desert of Merzouga in two days and one night, although it was a long way to get to the desert, it is absolutely worth it. In this case they exceeded all our expectations, everything was set up perfectly and with friendliness at all times. The hotel in Dades, a beauty, which transports you to live for a moment in a beautiful Riad. The Haimas in él deserts impeccable.
