Itinerary : Casablanca 8 Days itinerary
Day 1 : Casablanca - Fes.
Casablanca 8 Days itinerary , on the first day, we will meet at the airport and depart directly to Fez. On this journey we will enjoy the view of the fertile lands of Rabat and Meknes to reach the Riad in Fez where we will spend the night and enjoy a traditional dinner.
Day 2 : Fez: City Tour - Fez
After breakfast at the riad , we will start the visit to the oldest city of Morocco walking through its streets and alleys.our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace, the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 16th century.
We will make sure that all sites of cultural and historical interest are visited, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in Africa, the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the Mausoleum of Mulay Idriss.
After lunch, we will visit the tile cooperative and then we will observe a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez. Overnight and dinner in Riad.
Day 3 : Fez - Ifrane -Azrou -Midelt At noon we will leave Fes.
We will travel to Ifrane, a beautiful high mountain village, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and then to Midelt. During this trip we will be accompanied by the mountainous landscape of the Middle Atlas. You will stop in Azrou, a Berber village located in its famous Cedar Forest, the largest in Morocco, where you can observe the Berber monkeys.
Then the journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and the Atlas Mountains. In Midelt, you will stay in a hotel.
Day 4 : Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga (Erg Chebbi).
After breakfast at the hotel , we will leave for Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud . This route will be made by the magnificent Tiz Ntalghamt Pass and the Ziz Gorges, with views of the Middle Atlas plateau , being able to observe how the landscape changes to reveal the tracks of the desert as we approach the city of Errachidia, where we will have lunch.
Afterwards, we will cross the lush Ziz Valley, stopping to take in the panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani .
Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before starting your camel ride to spend a night in the desert camp with Berber music.
Day 5 : Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley.
The camel driver will help us get up early in the morning to see what may well be the best sunrise of your life. Peacefully, by camel, we will return to the village of Merzouga, appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular sand dunes of Erg Chebbi that change tone with the light as the day progresses.
After breakfast at the Riad, depart to Rissani, Tinghir and Todra Gorges, the highest, narrowest gorges of Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we will drive through the Dades Valley, where we will find the majestic sand castles and the incredible rock formations known as “monkey fingers”. Overnight and dinner at the hotel.
Day 6 : Dades Valley - Valley of Roses - Ouarzazate - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel through the Dades Valley to the Kelaa Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The journey through the Dades Valley is the road of a thousand kasbahs which provides numerous opportunities for some of the best photo opportunities of the trip as well as the adjoining Valley of the Roses. Continue to the city of Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios.
On the way to Marrakech, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs during the beginning of the 20th century, what used to be one of his stops during his long journey from the Sahara to Marrakech, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the landscape will change dramatically as you cross the High Atlas, encountering attractive panoramic views and Berber villages all the way to Marrakech. Overnight in Riad
Day 7: Marrakech: City tour.
After breakfast at the Riad , you can start visiting Marrakech ” the red city of Morocco” .
We will ensure that you will visit the most important places of historical and cultural interest , including the Majorelle Gardens , the Koutoubia Tower , the Saadian tombs , the Bahia Palace .
After lunch in a restaurant near the famous Jemma El-Fna Square. Later we will visit the souks where we will find samples of various handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore other parts of the city.
Day 8: Transfer to the airport.
After breakfast, at the appropriate time we will accompany you to the airport where after the farewell we will end our Casablanca 8 Days itinerary.
