4x4 Merzouga Excursion

Excursion 4x4 in merzouga to see nomads

1 Night in the Desert Merzouga

Depending on the time of arrival, this excursion begins after a leisurely lunch. The camels will be loaded with food, blankets and all the necessary effects for this trip that will take us through the loneliest desert. This route will discover a small oasis hidden among the dunes where we will spend the night.

If we are lucky and the sky is clear we can enjoy a starry night. After enjoying a good dinner, we will light a fire.

If you get up early the next morning, you will have the possibility to take a walk in the dunes and watch the sun rise over the Algerian border, about 50 kilometers from Merzouga. You will have time to take pictures before and after breakfast, after which we will return to the lodge, ending this excursion.

2 Nights in the Sahara Desert

This excursion begins after a leisurely lunch. The camels will be loaded with food, blankets and all the necessary effects for this trip that will take us through the loneliest desert. The camp is located on a dune of 120 meters high where you can have hours and hours of fun surfing the sand with a sandboard (sandboarding).

In the first night we will enjoy a dinner around a fire. In the morning we will have a good breakfast and we will still have almost 2 hours of travel to reach our new destination.

We will stop for an hour and a half to have lunch under the shade of a Tamariz, a typical tree of the desert. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the property of a Tuareg family where we will spend the night and interact with them. The next day, after a good breakfast, we will return to the village.

This excursion can be done in reverse. You can spend the first night with the Tuareg family and the next night in the oasis. The second day after the visit to the Tuareg family is when you can enjoy it back to the hotel in the morning.

We had a great experience with Morocco Morocco Morocco. We have made a trip to the desert with a group of friends and children. We have made a route of 5 days, spending 3 days and 2 nights in the desert where the children have had a great time, for them it has been the best of the trip, to jump in the dunes, the camel ride, sandboarding, the pool next to the desert, they have enjoyed a lot! It is a great experience and highly recommended to do at least 3 days in the desert, to enjoy it, live it and above all share experiences with the people there, who are wonderful! Excellent experience!

For many years I dreamed of visiting Morocco. Two friends and I went to that wonderful country for 10 days. Luckily another friend recommended Brahim and his people. We visited Marrakech, Fez, Casablanca, the Gorges on the way to Merzuga and spent a night in the desert. It was an unforgettable experience! And Ahmed made our trip and stay in the desert unforgettable, we had a great time and Zaid our driver and now friend made our ride smooth, safe and very enjoyable, everything is organized with a lot of responsibility and dedication to service. We had a local guide both in Fez and Marrakech and I have already recommended it to several friends who I hope will enjoy it as much as we did!
