1-Day Excursion to Ourika Valley from Marrakech

Our journey begins as we depart from Marrakech around 09:00 AM, heading toward the majestic Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will experience stunning landscapes and authentic Berber villages dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.

Traditional Berber Hospitality Our first stop is a visit to a traditional Moroccan house to gain insight into the local lifestyle and traditional cooking methods. From the rooftop, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of a 17th-century village and the surrounding valley. The hostess will perform a traditional tea ceremony, demonstrating how to prepare authentic mint tea. Afterward, we will be served a “country-style” breakfast consisting of fresh bread, butter, honey, olive oil, and tea.

Adventure and Nature Continuing deeper into the valley, we will stop for a 20-minute camel ride. Following the ride, we drive to the end of the road, where we leave our vehicle for a two-hour hike to discover the beautiful waterfalls (cascadas).

Lunch and Return We then head back to the vehicle and drive to a local restaurant for lunch. While enjoying a variety of traditional Moroccan dishes, you can take in the spectacular views over the valley. We will return to Marrakech at approximately 5:00 PM (17:00).
