2-Day Desert Tour from Ouarzazate

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

Departing from your riad, we head to Merzouga via the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the palm grove of Skoura and the city of roses, Kelaa Mgouna, the Dades Valley, and the Todra Gorges, before arriving at an ideal spot for walking and exploring on your own. Lunch at a restaurant, then continue to Erfoud, famous for its fossilized marble, where you will visit a workshop producing marble fossils. We will head to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which mark the beginning of the mighty Sahara Desert.

This is where a camel ride through the dunes of a field at night begins. Enjoy local food and a night of entertainment under the stars in the southern Sahara.

Day 2: Merzouga – Alnif – Ouarzazate

Wake up early to watch the sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are a sight to behold. Arrive at the hotel for breakfast and a shower.

Continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani, stopping briefly to visit the traditional souk, considered the largest in southern Morocco, then set off for the beautiful Draa Valley with its millions of palm trees. In the afternoon, arrive in Ouarzazate and check into the hotel.
