10-Day Private Morocco Tour from Marrakech

Day 1: MARRAKECH – MARRAKECH.

On the 10-day Morocco Tour, pick-up at Marrakech airport and transfer to the hotel. Free time to get your first taste of the famous Jemaa el Fna square. Accommodation in a riad.

Day 2: MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA – RABAT.

Leaving Marrakech behind, we will take the highway to Casablanca, where we will visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque. We will continue on to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we will visit Méchouar (the ramps and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the Kasbah of the Oudayas, and the magnificent mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II. We will spend the night in Rabat.

Day 3: RABAT – MEKNES – FEZ.

After breakfast, we will head to Meknes, where you can visit luxurious palaces and beautiful mosques, as well as one of Morocco’s most important souks. We will continue our journey to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a complex declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will spend the night in Fez.

Day 4: FEZ – FEZ.

We will spend the fourth day exploring Fez with a local guide. Fez is Morocco’s oldest imperial city. We will spend the night in Fez.

Day 5: FEZ – AZROU – MIDELT – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA.

Leaving Fez behind, we will head south through Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) and the cedar forests of Azrou, where we will see the monkeys that live there. We will cross the Ziz Valley and its gorges and pass through villages such as Midelt and Erfoud. From Erfoud, we will take a desert road to Merzouga, where we will sleep in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 6: MERZOUGA – MERZOUGA (Grand dune tour).

We will devote the sixth day entirely to enjoying the desert. We will drive across the dunes in a 4×4, visit nomadic villages, see oases, and ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will visit the famous village of Khamlia and enjoy its folk music. At sunset, we will ride camels to the Berber camp in the heart of the dunes, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 7: MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – TODRA AND DADES GORGES.

After enjoying the sunrise in the desert, we will ride the camels back to the hotel, where we will have breakfast and be able to shower. Leaving Merzouga behind, we will head towards the Todra Gorges, passing through Berber villages. Finally, we will arrive at the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night.

Day 8: DADES GORGES – VALLEY OF ROSES – OUARZAZATE

After breakfast, we will take the “Thousand Kasbahs” road and, after visiting the nomads who live in the caves of the Roses Valley, you will have free time to explore the area. Arriving at the

Day 9: OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH.

On the last day, we will visit the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, the most famous in Morocco, and continue north through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, at an altitude of 2,260 meters. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.

Day 10: MARRAKECH – MARRAKECH AIRPORT.
