2-Day Desert Tour from Fez to Marrakech

Day 1: Fez-Medilt-Azrou-Ziz Valley-Merzouga (Camel excursion and overnight stay in the Sahara)

2-day Morocco tour. After breakfast, we leave Fez for Merzouga, passing through Ifrane, and arrive at the forests of Azrou, home to wild monkeys. This will be a great opportunity to take photos of Moroccan nature. We will have lunch in the Berber village of Zaida.

We will continue through the Atlas Mountains, enjoying the scenery of Medilt until we reach the small village of Rich, Erfoud, where we begin to feel the air of the Sahara with the oasis of Tafilalet.

We will continue on to Merzouga, and after relaxing a little, we will ride camels to spend a night in the desert. We will spend a night in the tents of the Berber nomads.

Day 2: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

We will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the dunes. Then we will return to Merzouga with the dromedaries, taking in the spectacular scenery.

After breakfast and a shower at the hostel, we will begin our return trip to Marrakech, passing through different towns such as Alnif, Tazarine, and Nkotb until we reach Ouarzazate.

We will return along the same route we took on the way there, crossing the High Atlas Mountains and arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon, marking the end of our 2-day tour of Morocco – 2 days from Fez to the desert, Fez to Marrakech.
