- Itinerary:

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fez

On the first day of your trip, we will meet at the port of Tangier and travel through the Rif Mountains and the city of Tetouan, enjoying beautiful mountain views until we reach Chefchaouen, one of the most impressive villages at the foot of the Rif Mountains.

In the medina of Chefchaouen, we find the Spanish-style central square surrounded by many craft workshops and entertaining shops. There we will find the best restaurants and cafes.

Our journey will continue to the Volubilis junction via Wazan and other villages in the Rif Mountains. Volubilis is an important archaeological site from the Roman era that will show us part of Morocco’s historical past.

After visiting the ruins, we will head to the nearby historic city of Meknes, where we will stop for lunch and take a stroll to admire the walls of its Medina, Bab El Mansour, and enjoy a visit to the sanctuary of Moulay Ismail. After visiting Meknes, we will head directly to the city of Fez, where you will spend the night in a riad.

Day 2: Fez – City Tour

After breakfast at your riad, you will begin to explore Morocco’s oldest city by walking through its streets and alleys. Our tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace, the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, and the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all the sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in Africa, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Mulay Idriss. After lunch, we will visit the tile cooperative and then enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the entire Medina of Fez. Accommodation and dinner at the riad.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for Merzouga. The route will take us to Ifrane and the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorges, where you can enjoy views of the High Atlas plateau and watch the landscape change as we approach the city of Errachidia and the desert tracks begin to appear. Later, you will travel through the lush Ziz Valley, stopping along the way to Erfoud and Rissani to take in the different panoramic views. Upon arrival in Merzouga, we will enjoy a traditional welcome glass of mint tea, followed by a camel ride that will take us to a tented camp in the middle of the Erg Chebbi desert, where we will spend the night surrounded by dunes and the music of Berber drums.

Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

We will rise early to witness the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making our way back with the camels to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Afterwards, the route will take us through the Saghro Mountains to Tinghir. We will take a short walk through the Todra Gorges before arriving at the Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel through the Dades Valley to Kelaa Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through the Dades Valley is the road of a thousand kasbahs, providing numerous opportunities to take some of the best photographs of the trip, as does the adjacent Valley of Roses. We will continue to the city of Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios.

On the way to Marrakech, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs at the beginning of the 20th century. It used to be one of his stops during his long journey from the Sahara to Marrakech and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The landscape will change dramatically as you cross the High Atlas Mountains, with attractive panoramic views and Berber villages all the way to Marrakech. Accommodation in a riad.

Day 6: Marrakech: City Tour

After breakfast at the riad, we will visit Marrakech, “the red city.” We will make sure to visit the most important historical and cultural sites, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace.

After lunch at a restaurant near the famous Jemma El-Fna Square, we will visit the souks where we will find examples of different handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore other parts of the city.

Day 7: Transfer to the airport

After breakfast, at a convenient time, we will accompany you to the airport where, after saying goodbye, our services will end.
