Part of the morning is free to explore the city known as the “Gateway to Africa,” one of Morocco’s most vibrant and mysterious cities (a visit to Café Hafa is recommended). We then head to Asilah, visiting the Caves of Hercules along the way. According to legend, this is where Hercules rested after his 12 labors. The cave opening faces the Atlantic and floods during high tide, offering a unique experience. Arrival in Asilah, a beautiful coastal town with a blue-and-white medina decorated with colorful murals. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 2: Asilah – Rabat

After breakfast, we depart for Rabat, the “City of Gardens” and the administrative capital of Morocco. It is a dynamic blend of ancestral culture and modern elegance, surrounded by colorful mountainsides. You will have free time to explore its harmonious gardens and luxury shops. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 3: Rabat – Casablanca

We continue along the Atlantic coast to Casablanca, the country’s economic capital. You will have the full day to explore this great city and the famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the tallest temples in the world and one of the few open to non-Muslim tourists. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 4: Casablanca – Essaouira

Following the coastline, we enjoy beautiful views until we reach Essaouira. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this city maintains the charm of a land lost in time. It is the last fortified stronghold on the Atlantic shores. The bay, bathed by the waves of the Mogador Islands, is a paradise for windsurfing enthusiasts. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 5: Essaouira – Marrakech

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for a final stroll through the medina of Essaouira before departing for Marrakech. Upon arrival, transfer to your Riad and free time to get your first feel for the city.

Day 6: Marrakech (Full Day)

A free day to explore one of Morocco’s four Imperial Cities. Famous for its UNESCO World Heritage monuments and the iconic Jemaa el-Fna square, you can visit the modern Gueliz district, the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), or get lost in the winding streets of the Medina. The square comes alive with jugglers, musicians, snake charmers, and storytellers. Overnight at a Riad.

Day 7: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech

We visit the famous Ouzoud Waterfalls (110 meters high) in the Atlas Mountains. They are the most beautiful falls in Morocco and North Africa, surrounded by idyllic landscapes. In the afternoon, you can spot the local monkeys playing in the trees.

Day 8: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley

We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, passing Berber nomad villages. We visit the Kasbah of Telouet and the famous Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site and filming location for movies like Babel. We continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of the Roses to the Dades Gorges, the start of the “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs.” Dinner and hotel stay.

Day 9: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

We head to the Todra Gorges to walk through the 200-meter-high canyon. Then, we travel through the Tafilalet palm grove to reach the dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. You can walk on the fine sand and enjoy the desert landscape. Dinner and hotel stay at the foot of the dunes.

Day 10: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Tour

A 4×4 tour around the dunes to meet nomadic families and visit wild oases. We stop in Khamlia to enjoy a Gnawa music concert with tea. In the afternoon, we trade the 4×4 for dromedaries and trek 90 minutes into the heart of the desert for sunset. Dinner and overnight in nomad tents (jaimas) under the stars.

Day 11: Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt

After watching the sunrise and returning by camel, we visit the Rissani souk, the most authentic traditional market in the south. We pass through Erfoud and the Ziz Valley (home to over 18,000 palm trees) until we reach Midelt. Dinner and hotel stay.
