Take an exciting 4-day desert journey from Fes to Marrakech and see the breathtaking Erg Chebbi Dunes. This guided tour showcases the incredible geographic and cultural variety of Southern Morocco as it winds across Morocco’s Sahara desert.

DAY 1: Fez - Merzouga dunes.

4 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech, Breakfast and departure route to the beautiful dunes of Merzouga, pass through Ifran known as “the Moroccan Switzerland” stop to visit the Cedar forest in Azrou and see the little monkeys climbing cedar trees.

Then we will follow the route and cross the gentle mountains of the Middle Atlas, we will pass through Midelt, Ziz River, we will stop to take pictures of breathtaking panoramic views over the gorges of the Ziz River, Continue to the city of Erfoud famous for fossils where rocks containing fossils are extracted, arrival at the dunes of Merzouga “Erg Chebbi” where we can feel the peace and tranquility of the desert, where we can contemplate the spectacular sunset and the fascinating sky of stars. Dinner and overnight at the lodge located at the foot of the dunes.

DAY 2: Merzouga - Erg Chebbi.

Breakfast and departure route, we will make a great tour to discover the real desert between dunes, villages, the 1 oasis of Merzouga, we will stop in the village of the blacks of Khamlia and enjoy their music, take tea, then we will follow the route we will live the great adventure of a true nomad.

We will pass through the mines of Mifiss, the desert dishes, to meet the nomadic desert Berbers, the oasis Tissardmine, and return to the lodge at 3 pm we will leave the 4×4 and we will ride on the camels that will take us to the heart of the desert where we will contemplate an unforgettable sunset over the dunes and spend the night in a wild oasis located 1 hour and a half walk to camp under a starry sky.

DAY 3: Erg Chebbi -Todra valley -Ouarzazate.

We will wake up and if the clouds allow us, we may have a chance to see the beautiful spectacle of sunrise over the sea of dunes, then ride camels and return to the hostel where we take shower and breakfast, continue to Rissani first imperial city of Morocco to visit its legendary market the largest in all of southern Morocco, Continue to Tazzarine through Alnif, in the basin of Mader. We will follow the route to the famous Todra Gorges, the Dades Valley, the Valley of the Roses and the oasis of Skoura. Arrival in Ouarzazate Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 4: Ouarzazate - Kasbah ait ben haddou -Marrakech.

Breakfast and departure to Marrakech before continuing the route to Marrakech we go to the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Visit the Kasbah where many movies have been filmed, such as Obelix, Babel, Sahara, Kingdom of Heaven, Cleopatra and Gladiator. Then we will follow the route back to Marrakech, crossing the mountains of the high Atlas through the pass of Tizin Tichka (the highest mountain pass of the Atlas, with 2,260 m. altitude) with its spectacular views arrive in the afternoon to Marrakech and end of our 4 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech

We were a group of friends and had little time, so we were able to modify the trip and do the desert of Merzouga in two days and one night, although it was a long way to get to the desert, it is absolutely worth it. When traveling to unfamiliar places you have a kind of fear, to know that what you are paying for will be met. In this case they exceeded all our expectations, everything was set up perfectly and with friendliness at all times. The hotel in Dades, a beauty, which transports you to live for a moment in a beautiful Riad. The Haimas in él deserts impeccable.
